Hello and welcome! This website is devoted to my family's recently acquired love of camping. I say recently because it was just a few years ago that we got hooked on it. Now we can't think of a better way to spend quality time with each other. Whether hiking a trail, going for a bike ride around the campground or just sitting around the campsite taking in the natural beauty of nature and ending each day with a warm, soothing bonfire, we have found this passtime hard to beat.

First, let me tell you how it all began. In the summer of 2000 we decided to go to Wisconsin Dells for our family vacation. We stayed at one of the local motels there and hated shelling out $ just for the place to stay. We also thought about all the money we could save bringing our own food and cooking our own meals instead of going out to eat all the time. While driving around we happened to notice a Yogi Bear campground and we started talking about maybe trying it out one time.

We started looking at tents, sleeping bags, and everything else about camping and soon realized that we would be investing a lot of money for something that we weren't even sure we would like. After a lot of searching and not being able to find the right tent we could all agree on, we started wondering if we would even like sleeping on the ground at all. It was at that moment that we decided that we needed to find an alternative to tents.

A few months later, after a whole lot of research, both at the library and online, and attending two RV shows, this is what we decided on...
